This morning, I was excited to be at Hockey Life Camp talking to two groups of young athletes about nutrition! One group was kids ages ~11-15 and the other was ~5-10. They had all just eaten lunch, so food was fresh in mind. As part of my introduction, the head coach of the camp, conveyed the importance of food in their athletic pursuits and reminded them how important it is to build these healthy habits early in life to help them get big and strong, and later crush people out on the ice/in whatever endeavors they choose. Totally agree!
